1. Can we guarantee a Top 5 ranking for the major search engines?
This
is a two part response:
- This question usually stems from several Search Engine Marketing/Optimization firms out there
that say that they "Can Guarantee Top 5 or Top 10 position on Google".
The deal with these type of firms is that they "can" and Bizz Promotions could as well for that matter,
get certain abstract keywords in the top 5 or 10 that no one is looking
for. You have to be very careful of SEO companies that say they can get
top 5 placement, because they can get you in the top 5 for keywords that
they choose...but no one else is searching for.
The Bizz Promotions difference is this:
- We research the market and understand exactly what keywords or keyphrases potential customers are
searching for and in turn we optimize your website accordingly. The end result for

listed on the major search engines?
This process is completely explained in the Bizz Promotions Phases document. This document is made available exclusively to potential customers or current customers as it details the Bizz Promotions internet marketing process. In order to obtain that document, potential customers should schedule a FREE consultation and the details will be explained during the initial consult. There are several factors that we will explain here for better understanding:
- If a website is fairly new and has never been submitted to the search engines or the website has never
indexed by search engines, results will cary and could potentially take
3-6 months. In addition, the exact keywords/keyphrases have to be inline with
what people are actually searching for as well in order to determine results.
- If a website has been active and has been indexed for an extended length of time,
We have seen the results in less than a month, however We don't like to
set that kind of expectation. Bizz Promotions usually sets the mark at around 90 days in order to see definite results. This is not to say, it will take that long to see certain results, however in order to understand complete results, we generally say 90 days. We strive to provide results as soon as possible, and usually the results take affect very soon once optimization and website submission is complete.

Will Bizz Promotions Make Changes To My Website?
The short answer to this question is "Yes, Absolutely". The changes that we make are non-cosmetic and transparent to the end users. What that means, is that internet viewers will never know that changes have been made, however the Search Engines will.
How will Bizz Promotions make those changes?
- Customer Provided FTP or Control Panel Access - If the customer has access to their website via FTP or Control Panel (C-Panel), Bizz Promotions would request access to the system to retrieve current website files and in turn upload the optimized files when the optimization process is complete.
- Webmaster - If the customer does not have access to FTP or Control Panel (C-Panel), Bizz Promotions will need to work very closely with the Customer's webmaster to complete necessary changes. If this is the case, the customer will need to provide webmaster contact information and if needed, introduce Bizz Promotion to their webmaster via meeting or conference call.
4. What reporting and overall communications will I receive?
Bizz Promotions takes great pride in reporting and communicating with the customer. The Bizz Promotions philosophy is that we want the customer to fully understand all aspects of Search Engine Marketing. Believe it or not, we actually learn from the customer, which in turn helps us provide better services!
- Search Engine Submission Reports (One Time or Monthly depending on package purchased)
- Monthly Search Engine Ranking Reports - We e-mail montly search engine ranking reports to our customers in order for them to see what position their website ranks on the search engines.
- Monthly Analytics Reports - We e-mail monthly analytics reports to the customer. These reports will show how many times their website was reviewed, what keywords/keyphrases were used and a host of other information.

6. What four search engines comprise 90%+ of all general (non site-specific) web search traffic?
Hands Down Google receives the majority of searches on the internet. As of September 2007, out of 9.4 BILLION searches performed in the U.S., Google received 57% of those searches. The remaining 4 of the Top 5 search engines received what was left. Yahoo - 23.7%, MSN (Live.com) - 10.3%, Ask.com - 4.7% and AOL.com - 4.5%. So to further answer the question, the four search engines that are generally used are: Google, Yahoo, MSN/Live and Ask.

What is "Organic Search" and how is it different than Pay Per Click (PPC)?- Organic Search is when a typical user goes to Google.com and types in a keyword or keyphrase and then results are listed in the main body(Click To See Example). These listings are called "Organic Searches" because the results that are displayed are not paid for. These results appear strictly as a result of website optimization or just becuase they are found to be the most relevant websites relating to the keywords and key phrases used. The idea behind Search Engine Optimization is to "Optimize" the customer's website according to the best keywords and keyphrases that people are truly searching for in order for them to appear using "Organic Search".
